Change can lead to something better than anything you can imagine – Rumi

I’m Jeff Anthony, and it is an honor that you made your way here. I am currently finishing my practicum and internship in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As a veteran dealing with life’s unexpected challenges, I have a unique understanding and perspective on healing and wholeness. It often is not the world’s view of us that limits our ability to have wholeness; instead, our perceptions of ourselves restrict our ability to heal and experience all that life is waiting for us to live.

As a counselor in training, I utilize talk therapy with an emphasis in narrative therapy, and I champion the value of holding space. Most importantly I believe in the freedom of autonomy and self-discovery, so therapy with me looks like me being your navigator to help you arrive at your chosen destination. While my training provides me the map to navigate the waters toward mental wholeness and health, you are the captain of your ship and decide when and where we’re going.

I am a storyteller, and we all have a story to tell. I would be honored to be your navigator and help you discover yourself through your story. Therapy can seem overwhelming, but once you decide to start the journey with me, I will be there to support you with non-biased and unconditional positive regard no matter which direction you choose to set sail.

I look forward to working with you. Let’s write a new chapter. To healing!
