Erin Frazier-Maskiell, LPC

Marcy Smaha, LPC

Emily Knott, LPC

  • Founder

Erin has spent over 20 years providing care to a wonderful variety of folks in settings such as schools, home-based programs, community mental health and private practice. Her approach has always been client-centered, collaborative and she is privileged to have advanced training in EMDR and Art Therapy and feels passionate about creative approaches to traditional talk therapy.

Although Erin is no longer providing direct client care, she is very hands on with the client care her team gives by way of providing supervision, consultation and oversight. She is also cultivating a professional culture of equity and anti-oppression work for all marginalized groups, but in particular our BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ community members.

  • Clinical Director

My name is Marcia Smaha: please, call me Marcy. I have the privilege of being the Clinical Director here at ACC, and that role has me wearing many hats each day. You might find me facilitating the intake process, answering the phone or supporting folks in the lobby; or maybe I’ll be elbows deep in the computer trying to figure out how insurance works or why that one code did a thing; or, for my favorite part, maybe I’ll be in supervisor mode supporting my clinicians so they can provide the best client care possible. I see the potential in every human and I hope that my efforts show my belief in the goodness and capability of humankind, as I work to hold ACC, the services we provide, and the clinicians I support, to the highest standard of compassionate care for our clients and community.

As a supervisor, my supervision style also reflects that belief of inherently capable goodness. It is my mission in my supervision to walk with my supervisees and provide as safe a place as possible to uncover insecurities, ask the hard questions, grapple for answers, and test things out. I do not believe there is only one right answer, but rather answers that are right for you. It is my goal to help you explore, process, and harness your experience and I cherish the honor of sharing in your journey toward licensure.

  • Administrative Director

Emily has dedicated her professional life to providing compassionate and thoughtful care across community mental health, specialized therapeutic environments, and private practice. Since 2018, she has held many behind-the-scenes roles in therapy practices ensuring that the day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Her approach to leadership and supervision is eclectic and collaborative, remaining deeply rooted in honoring our origins while reaching toward our fullest potential, with a continued belief in the power of narrative and storytelling in the growth process.
